Dear Ned, Elaine, Peter & Mary Beth - I was so very sorry to hear about your mother. I watched the beautiful service at St. Mary's today on Zoom from LA. I have very fond memories of Aunt Dotty over the years, especially when we were children and teenagers and spent those summer vacations with your family and The Burtons up in the Adirondacks or camping in Canada....great fun! Plus all those wonderful Easter, Thanksgiving, and Xmas holiday dinners with you all on Kildare Rd in Garden City and in Manhasset. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Lots of love from your cousin, Larry
Dear Heiskell Family,
I felt such deep loss and sadness when I heard of your Mom's leaving her earthly home. She was so proud of her family. Being a CMSV '59 classmate, we shared the same deep love of CMSV. Words cannot adequately express what a special classmate, friend and person Dotty was to us all. We were truly so very blessed to have her in our lives. May Dotty be basking with all the angels, resting in well earned peace as she continues to live in your and our hearts.
Many thanks for "live streaming" Dottie's Funeral Mass so that I could attend from California.
It was such a pleasure to get the chance to work with Ms. Dorothy, her lovely daughter Mary-Beth and son, Fr. Peter. You guys were so welcoming and kind to me.
I'm eternally grateful and will forever cherish the beautiful memories that we've shared since the time we've met.
May her soul rest in paradise.
