Donna Famularo

1960 - 2021

OBITUARY

Donna Famularo, née Corozzo, of New Hyde Park, NY, formerly of Glen Cove, NY, passed away peacefully in her home on December 13th, 2021, surrounded by family. She will be remembered as a fantastic mother, wife, daughter, and sister, who loved to talk about her kids’ successes, the Jets, and the Mets. She held a master’s degree from Hofstra University and worked for 28 years as a software engineer at Curtiss-Wright. She was adventurous—she went on trips with her family to the Jersey Shore, amusement parks, Disney, MLB stadiums, and more. She was a multisport athlete, known to play golf, softball, basketball, and volleyball. Donna loved a good puzzle. She solved daily logic puzzles, watched Jeopardy! whenever she could, and visited escape rooms with her family throughout New York and Connecticut. Above all, Donna put her family first, and she looked forward to each and every family gathering. Donna was predeceased by her Aunt Joan and Uncle Ed Anuszewski, her Aunt Marion Adomsky, her Uncle Michael Corozzo, and her father-in-law Barney Famularo. She is survived by her husband Vinny and children Lisa and Thomas Famularo. She was the first daughter to her parents Greg and Ellen Corozzo, and was the niece of Jack and Mary Brooks, John Adomsky, and Susie Siarkowski. She was the daughter-in-law of Rose Famularo. Donna was a beloved sister and sister-in-law to Karen and Bob O’Hern, Michelle and Ken Katovitz, Tony and Sue Famularo, and Joe and Ann Famularo. She was also the cherished aunt to Andrew and Kelsey O’Hern; Emma and Sarah Katovitz; Kristina and Matt Lundin; and Michele, Paige, Amanda, Eric and Emma Famularo.
