DIANE PASZKIEWICZ
November 10, 1936 – August 24, 2026
It is with profound sadness and deep heartbreak that we announce the passing of Diane Paszkiewicz on August 24, 2026.
Beloved wife of the late Edward. Treasured daughter of the late Lilly and Joseph Kruzewski. Cherished mother of Miranda Palmieri, and loving mother-in-law to Luciano Palmieri. Proud grandmother of Michael Palmieri (Leanne Merill), and adoring great-grandmother to Miles and Harper Palmieri.
Diane was a devoted employee of Sewanhaka High School in Floral Park for forty-three years, a long-time parishioner and senior club member of St. Hedwig’s Church, and an avid New York Mets fan. For several years she was also a dedicated member of the Floral Park Centre Civic Association, and at one point served as the secretary for this organization. Diane enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and ceramics, and accomplished all four with both passion and mastery. In her earlier years, she was also an enthusiastic traveler, and cruising was her favorite ‘way to go!’ Diane was also always eager for a lengthy session of Bingo or Rummikub, which she often played with her senior club gal pals.
Diane loved her family and friends with endless, enduring devotion, and showered them with adoration and incredible generosity. She inspired many with her vast wealth of knowledge, upbeat positivity, compassion, and unwavering spirit. Diane lived an active life full of curiosity, creativity, and purpose. Her presence will be profoundly missed, and her legacy warmly and fondly remembered. . .
