I’ll never forget all of our jokes and fun times. I love you so much Delaney. Thank you for everything. Hope you’re at peace.
Dear Delaney, I didn’t know you know you too well, that doesn’t mean I don’t remember you. I remember this morning when my Dad had told me you had left us. I couldn’t believe it. I looked up the obituary and this page came up. I scrolled down and saw the comments, I saw the names of people I go to school with It sat for the whole day, and still sits with me that people I have cared for since my first day at Village, are grieving, aching, and mourning deeply. Friends, Family, Classmates, Teachers, many more, and my heart never stopped aching. I have seen so many things about you I never knew before, you will forever be…
Oh sweet, beautiful girl I’ve been crying for you all day all day long. You’re such a beautiful, beautiful soul. You remind me of myself when I was your age and of my best friend who had a bedroom that looked just like yours. And I remember telling you about that the first time I met you, I thought about you so much for so many months and I wanted to tell you so many things about what I went through when I was your age, but I didn’t feel like it was my place. My dad and brother passed in 2020 and I asked them to look out for you and give you love and show you the way…
Delaney you were so sweet and always looked out for everyone, I appreciate the time spent with you even just at school and know you are in a better place. I’m glad to have known you, Thank you for everything.
Dear Delaney, I may not have known you for very long but you had such a powerful impact on me and the people around you. You were such a sweet, kind, and beautiful soul. My heart aches for your family and your struggles, I hope you rest easy in heaven. Fly High, Delaney. We will miss you. 🤍 🕊️
Sincerely, Ezra Castillo.
