Passed on to his eternal Rest at the young age of 86. Married to Carolyn Faughnan for 30 years. Four children. Christopher and Kristina Lynch ( Kyle and Cara ), Diane Lynch, Debbie and James Sweetman ( Ryan, Courtney, Cailey ) and Doris and Philip Downing. Worked for NY Phone company for 52 years, 7 months, 4 days. Long time resident of Mineola, Long Island. Parishioner of St Aidan’s Church in Williston Park. Member and Past Grand Knight of Corpus Christi council #2502. Enjoyed his family, going out socially with his sister Doris F. Lynch. Loved talking, seeing and FaceTiming his Grandchildren. Loved watching various sporting events at Chaminade High School.
In lieu of flowers, your prayers for Daniel would be gratefully appreciated at this time and charitable donation can be made in his name to either the Torch Fund at Chaminade High School or The Ivey Memory Wellness Day Center, 6030 Park S. Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina, 28210 for the care and well being for people with Alzheimer’s Disease.

A belated goodbye to an old friend. We crossed paths at telephone company central offices and at the Knights of Columbus where he was Deputy Grand Knight when I was Grand Knight. He followed me as Grand Knight and surpassed us all as a friend and gentleman. Rest in peace Danny.
Danny was a special part of our "everyday". So many stories yet to be told. Breakfast will never be the same. Our heart aches for all of you. Special prayers for Doris, a devoted sister and friend. He loved you so! Rest in peace, Danny! You will never be forgotten. May your coffee cup be forever filled. God's blessings.

My deepest condolences to the family. Danny has always been an inspiration to me. Danny's career with Western Electric/Lucent in part drove my career in the communications industry. I'll always be grateful and I'll miss him terribly.
