He spent his formative years in the United States, attending St. Mark’s Episcopal Day School from kindergarten to the eighth grade before moving on to Brooklyn Technical High School where he played on the football team, a sport he often credited with cementing his physical and mental toughness which served him well throughout his life.

Christophe studied Accounting in college and went on to work in the finance department of Gee Street Record label in Manhattan. When 911 occurred, Christophe, who was then working at Prudential near the World Trade Center, decided to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a New York City police officer. Christophe lived life. He traveled as often as he could. He loved adventures. He loved meeting new people and seeing new places. He loved good food, old school music, History channel documentaries, sci-fi films, and the New York Yankees.

Christophe, affectionately known as Bam or Brammabull, passed away on June 30, 2024 surrounded by childhood friends and family. He was a loving son, devoted big brother, friend to all, and godfather to many, Chris believed in the goodness of people.Always with a kind smile, and words of encouragement, Chris will be remembered for his kindness and his strength of character. A great man; a good friend, Chris was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement to others no matter what challenges they faced. When faced with his own adversities, he tackled them with grace and courage. He leaves behind wonderful memories and a life well lived.

I will always cherish our time on patrol together all those years ago- boots to pavement and all the laughs in between. Rest in Eternal Peace my friend. May God bless you, your family, your friends, your co-workers, and the NYPD.

I don't even know what to say. So unexpected. I just knew I'd see you again. Didn't know when and didn't expect soon, but never would I think I'll see you no more. I'm just..... lost for words.

I am happy that we became good friends. I love you and I miss you so much. Rest in Heaven my friend. Till we meet again.
