I am so very sorry to learn that Catherine passed away earlier this summer. She was a dear friend to my mother, Ruth Blake, and they were colleagues in the VFW Ladies' Auxiliary. Catherine and Larry spent many hours with my parents, and I have very fond memories of their VFW times together. Catherine went out of her way to keep in touch with my mother, and also with me over the years via Christmas cards. She was full of life, funny and kind. Sending all our love and condolences to her family and friends; she will be missed dearly.
