Carolyn, I'm so mad at you for dipping out like this! I cannot believe I talked to you on the 22nd (yelling about a TikTok video) and then you were gone. Gone! Who else will quote My Cousin Vinny or Gone in 60 Seconds or Say Anything with me? Who else will be my emotional support Carolyn when weird crap happens? Who else will send me wildly inappropriate birthday wishes using felled dictators with a cake gifs? I've known you for almost 20 years! You think a friendship like that just happens? Well, with you it did. And now I'll never hear your voice again. Never get a ridiculous text from you again. I'll miss you viscerally until I die…
My birthday twin, my plus one at work - words cannot express how much I'll miss you. Your witty remarks and your sarcasm were sure to always crack me up. I never got the chance to tell you just how much you helped me through these last 2 years. We never made it to Donut Happy Hour, but I'll be sure to go and have a donut in your memory.
MY MORNING AT WORK WILL NEVER BE THE SAME! BE WITH JOHN AND KNOW THAT YOU ARE MISSED EVERYDAY!
Carolyn, you were more than just a coworker. I will miss your witty sense of humor. Who will suggest my next read or show? I'm so glad our paths crossed, even if briefly. I'd like to believe you are back with John and other family you missed so much. You will be missed by so many.
Dear Carolyn, I am heartbroken that we cannot be there in person, but please know that our love is with you. You are a dear friend who forever changed our lives by introducing Tom and me 32 years ago. We truly believe you are now at peace, reunited with John, and embraced by family who went before you. Holding all of your family and friends in my thoughts and prayers. Sending love and heartfelt condolences.
