OBITUARY

Carol Ann Berg, age 79, passed away on April 12, 2025 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.  Carol leaves behind a loving family, including her adoring husband, Herbert, her son, Michael (Christine), her grandchildren, Olivia and Jack, her brother Steven (Teri) Brandt, and her son-in-law, Timmy McKeegan.  She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Paul and Dorothy, her brother James and her daughter, Kathy.

Niezależnie czy piszesz posty, maile czy eseje – Licznik Słów zawsze się przyda.

Born and raised on Long Island, Carol graduated from New Hyde Park Memorial High School in 1963 and from Bellevue Nursing School in 1966.  In August of 1968, she married Herb after he returned from military service in Korea.  Carol dedicated 32 years of her life to Long Island Jewish Hospital as a labor and delivery nurse where she touched the lives of countless families with her warm personality and loving care.

When Carol was not helping to deliver babies, she enjoyed bowling, crocheting, needlepoint and making heartfelt gifts for friends and family.  After retirement, Carol and Herb moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida, enjoying a beautiful home for many years before moving into a senior living facility.  She was very grateful for the many friends she had in life, including those in Florida.  Carol was an avid gnome collector and had a display she was proud of outside of her door.  Many also admired the love they observed between Carol and Herb, which never faded after 56 years together.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Carol's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, an organization close to the family’s heart.  Carol's warmth and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
