May I offer condolences to the family. I was a neighbor to your son. I'm heartbroken over his tragic loss. He was a good neighbor, very respectful and helpful.

His passing is a loss to those whose lives he touched. May God ease your grief knowing that he made made a difference in the world.

I still remember my first time at a swim meet with Brandon. He was still a kid but that charming half smile and raised eyebrow I saw so many times over the next years of coaching him were already there. He was insanely talented and had such a big personality. As Alexis said below, he has left holes in so many hearts -- and in the world. I know I'm a better teacher, coach, and person for having known him and I will never forget him. I wish I could be there in person to pay respects but want you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you all. -- Kathy Forrestal

This is truly unfair. Brandon was so fun and full of energy. We first met on the pool deck of Cross Island YMCA, grew up together, raced in college, and coached on opposite age group teams. He was such a good friend and will be missed so much. Rest easy, you left a hole in everyone's heart that you came across. Much love to the Sweetman family during this time.

Brandon will always hold a special place in my heart. He made a big first impression on me my first day coaching at CIY. Brandon was one of the smartest swimmers I've ever known, he had so much talent. He could win always lessen my frustrations with him with his smile! I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I will always remember Brandon and smile
