Goodbye my sweet cousin Annette until we meet again in God's grace. We shared childhood memories then I moved away and contact was mostly Christmas cards and an occasional phone call for many years, until you moved from NY and reached out in friendship to renew our connection. Although age, health and other responsibilities kept us from physically visiting, I am so thankful for our regular phone calls sharing our lives and thoughts from family to politics. I will miss you so much! And am praying for your loving husband Fred that he may find peace and gratitude for all you had together.
I'm also grateful to your "Deborah" aka Angela, for her beautiful tribute to her "sweet and spicy"…
Sending our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to our brother and friend Deacon Fred Ferrara and his family during this time. Our hope is in the promise of the Word of God that, "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." (2 Corinthians 5:8). We celebrate a life well-lived and arrival of Mrs. Ferrara's heavenly home and eternal reward. May God continue to bless and comfort family and friends during the time. With Love and prayers, Open Heaven United, Rancho Cordova, Ca.
"Our hearts are hurting with the loss of Annette (or simply "Mrs. Ferrara" as I called her in college!). Annette is now in heaven, a place where she definitely has a front row seat! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family dring this difficult time, Fred! Sincerely, Chris & Janet Silge"
I was privileged to have discussed with you your courtship marriage and life experience with us earlier this year. A true love story that will be celebrated in heaven. God Bless You
A Heartfelt Goodbye to My One-of-a-Kind Mother-in-Law Annette
Saying goodbye to you feels impossible — maybe because in our own way, we never really said anything too seriously. We joked, we teased, we bantered like pros. You were my Marie, and I was your Deborah — and somehow, in all that back-and-forth, we built something real. A bond made of sarcasm and love, of challenge and respect.
You were always quick with your opinions, generous with your advice (solicited or not!), and absolutely unmatched in your ability to keep me on my toes. But underneath that sharp tongue was a heart that loved fiercely — a heart that welcomed me into your family, challenged me to hold my own, and…
