McGARRITY – Ann C. (nee O’Neill) of New Hyde Park, NY on August 18, 2020. Born in Manhattan on May 5, 1935. Beloved wife of the late Gerard. Loving mother of Jerry (Kathleen), Tim (Sharon), Mike, and the late Darren. Cherished grandma of seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Dear sister of Patricia and Tim.
Retired from Nassau County Department of Assessment. Friends may visit on Friday 3-7pm at the New Hyde Park Funeral Home, 506 Lakeville Road, New Hyde Park, NY. Grandma Ann was always a source of joy in my life! She loved others so deeply! She looked out for me and my family and made sure we had fun, ate lots of sweets, and felt loved and taken care of! I am so thankful to have had her as a wonderful Grandma and to watch her enjoy being a Great Grandma too. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten!
I am Lynne Joann>s friend loved the time we time we spent together at her parties. Wonderful memories. Your smile is wonderful and always was. RIP with love from Lynne and Ed Murnane. xxx
