OBITUARY
Alice Igel, 89, of New Hyde Park, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 3, 2022, a few days shy of her 90th birthday.
She was born on February 7, 1932, daughter of the late Ernest and Elizabeth Berglund. Alice was a devoted and loving wife, mother, Nana, and great-grandmother.
She is predeceased by her husband, Paul. She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Lee); son, Kenneth (Kathy); grandchildren, Kristen (Timothy), Allison (John), Stevie (Timothy), and Paul; great-grandchildren, Leah, Danny, Oliver, Miles, and Beau; and dog, Taffy.

I remember Paul well from the Elks and I probably met her at an event or two there. Kenny was right behind me in the Officers pecking order. Sorry for your loss. Losing a mother, although not unexpected, is hard.
I'm so sorry to hear of Alice's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of her and Paul with us all at the Elks. I hope Kenny, Paul, Alice and all our friends from the Elks are together celebrating her 90th birthday and drinking Martinis. Sending Love and Prayers to you all.
