Years ago when Marty was in his early 90s I had the opportunity to play golf with him many times. I was always so impressed with him how even though we all had a cart Marty would walk the golf course. Conversation with him was always stimulating with both of us being lithographers in our past. I never knew he fought in the Battle of the Bulge but I did know he was a part of the Greatest Generation that led our country to where we are today. When I think of Marty it always warms my heart and brings a smile to my face and I know he is on the express upstairs.
