Entered into rest on December 30, 2019 after a courageous battle with a long illness. The 11th of 12 children, Antoinette was born in Albertson, NY and attended Herricks Public Schools and Mineola High School. In her younger years, Antoinette worked on many of the large farms that made up Nassau County in the 1930s and 1940s. She resided in New Hyde Park and Astoria, Queens for most of her adult life. Together with her late husband, Vincent, Antoinette owned and operated a mechanical engraving business in Astoria for over 30 years. Antoinette is survived by her son, Kevin Kokernak; her daughter Elaine Manasse (Joseph); her two beloved grandchildren, Rebecca and Joseph Manasse; a sister, Jane Brown of Mt. Sterling, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
