OBITUARY
Rosemarie DiPalo passed away suddenly on November 14, 2019 at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She was 85 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, NY to Anthony Gagliardi and Elena Cicatello. She lived in Astoria, NY before moving to Flushing, NY. She moved to New Hyde Park, NY in 2003.
She worked in Nutrition Services in the Great Neck and Fresh Meadows School Districts for many years before she retired.
Rosemarie was an active member of St. Kevins R.C. Church in Flushing and Notre Dame R.C. Church in New Hyde Park for many years.
Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She is survived by her husband Louis A. DiPalo and three children: Robert, J. DiPalo of Franklin Square, NY, Diane LaMontanaro of Commack, NY, and Laura Quinn (DiPalo) of Colorado Springs, Co., sister Ann Borgia of Douglaston, NY, and 6 grandchildren: Amanda, Briana, Marlena, Michael, Elena, Kristin and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday November 18, 2019 from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:30 pm at the New Hyde Park Funeral Home, 506 Lakeville Rd, New Hyde Park, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 9:15 am at Notre Dame R.C. Church.
Interment will be at Calverton National Cemetery 210 Princeton Blvd. Calverton, NY.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Notre Dame Church in her memory.
