9/12/1979 - 7/24/2019 OBITUARY Ruby Ann Cruz-Jaramillo, 39, of Queens, NY passed away peacefully on July 24th, 2019 at 7:40pm in the presence of her mother, Donna and husband, Gustavo at Calvary Hospital, Bronx, NY. Ruby was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in September 2015 and was blessed to survive an additional 4 years doing the things she loved; such as traveling, spending time with her husband, family and friends. Ruby worked for NYC Health & Hospitals Corp. as an Energy Manager making a difference in our future environment. Beloved wife, daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, cousin, extended family member to all.

Took me time to write something. Ruby is the kind of woman that is unforgettable.
She was my first love. She had a way about her, that she could make you so mad at her, but you still just wanted to hug and love her more. I Miss her so much and there is not one day that I have not though of her. I love you Ruby. Hopefully I will get to see you.
Ruby has left an indelible mark on many folks, she was truly a gift that will not be forgotten. May her memory be cherished by all who encountered this amazing young woman.
It can be hard to understand why we suffer. Yet God can use our affliction in unexpected ways. We're not asked to deny our pain and suffering, but we can take heart in God's ability to use it for good. Donna, Dawn, friends & family we all have an Angel now! Although we try to say comforting words. There are no words of comfort!!! It's a bridge that was crossed several times....you just learn to live with that emptiness. life will never be the same. Our loved ones will always be missing. Until we meet again.
