Patrick Christopher Morgan


3/14/1958 - 7/5/2019 OBITUARY Patrick Christopher Morgan of Belle Harbor, Queens passed away at the age of 61 on July 5, 2019 after a nine-year battle with leukemia. Born on March 14, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY, Patrick was preceded in death by his parents John (Jack) Morgan and Kathleen (nee Roughan). He is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Mary (nee Lacey), his daughter Theresa Turchiano (James), his son Jerry (Mary Kate), five adoring granddaughters (Julia, Kelsey, Elena, Anna, & Clara) and four siblings (John, Maureen, Brian, and Shelia). Patrick was an Account Executive for most of his thirty-six year career at AT&T, retiring in 2014. Committed to help those who are less fortunate, he spent fifteen years on the Board of Directors of the Dorothy Bennett Mercy Center, a nonprofit located in Brooklyn. His passion for music was well-known. Patrick was a multi-instrumentalist in local bands spanning forty years, most notably with the Moran Brothers and Solshyne. Visitation will be held on Sunday July 7, 2019 and Monday July 8th, 2019 at 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM, at McManus Funeral Home, 4601 Avenue N, Brooklyn, NY. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis DeSales RC Church on Tuesday July 9th, 2019 at 10:30 AM. 129-16 Rockaway Beach Blvd., Belle Harbor, NY 11694. Burial will be on Tuesday, July 9th, 2019 at St. Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
