John's enthusiasm for life was special. When coaching there was always that sparkle in his eye as he shouted out encouragement and praise for the girls on his team. Every Fall on Saturdays or Sundays when I walk past Memorial Park and see the Holy Spirit red take the field I will think of him fondly.
