Joseph Zaccaria, 89, of New Hyde Park, NY passed away on 1/20/19 (3 weeks before his 90th birthday) after a long battle with Parkinson’s. Joseph was a beloved father to his daughter Joan Zaccaria, Barbara Zaccaria (Bob Ritter) and Rosemarie Alvord (Michael).
Joseph was pre-deceased by his wife Nora of 47 years in 2002. He was a cherished grandfather to Nora Ana Budjinski (Chris), Andrew Ritter (Melanie), Evan Goodwin and Jonathan Ritter as well as 3 great grandsons Benjamin, CJ and Zachary.
Joseph is also survived by sister Rita Winberry and many nieces and nephews who loved him very much. His love, laughter, stories and “fibs” will be cherished and missed by all.
