When I was a young child, my Aunt Ann was a big influence in my life. As a matter of fact, my Confirmation name is Antoinette. She allowed me to come to the pool with her two children, she let me take piano lessons at her house and she made some of the best Eggplant Parmigiana, Chi Chi Chad (Struffoli) in the family. That could be debated between my mother Brigida and my Aunt Mickey. Aunt Ann did have a few quirks, but I am sure to this day if you go to her house, she would have every recipe, every tool, every check ever written by her alphabetized and in chronological order since time began.
