Member of the New Hyde Park Fire Dept. for 40 plus years, Ex Chief of the NHP Fire Dept., Ex Captain Rescue Co. of the NHP Fire Dept., member of the Chiefs Association & member of the NHP Exempts Association. We share in this time of grief but also share in the love and memories of Karl. He will remain in our hearts forever.
Its hard to believe that I am writing these words right now on your behalf. We had a great laugh the last time I saw you and that's how I will remember you. You always had a great joke. Sleep in peace Karl.
I remember first meeting Karl at Copperfield's back in the early 80's, Gina was a classmate of Karl's, Karl through the years our friendship grew and you were always a gentlemen and a great friend. You always had a friendly hello and took the time to talk to everyone, that's why you were so respected by everyone. A great loss. God bless you Karl and rest in peace, God needs you now to help him in heaven.
May you rest in peace Karl. I knew you and your family for over fifty years. You had so many friends everywhere in the community. The Fire Department will never forget you. God bless you Karl.
