Evola, Lawrence (Larry) A., 53 of Franklin Square, NY passed on May 26, 2018. Larry fought a courageous 13 month battle against brain cancer. Beloved husband of Jeanne, very proud father of Marissa and Lauren, and best boy Brody. Loving brother of Maryann (Frank), the late Gina (Danny), Roy (Virginia), Carmine (Susana), Cathy (Steve). Son of the late Antoinette and Lawrence. Loving son in law to Mary and Michael Higgins.
Larry will be sorely missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Larry was born on February 19, 1965 in the Bronx and raised in Queens Village. He attended P.S. 33, P.S. 109 and Martin Van Buren. Larry proudly served as a Marine from 1983-1987. Semper Fi! Larry worked for the United States Post Office at JFK for 27 years.

I am so late in posting
I did not know this site existed. Larry was my first friend ever we met as babies as we were neighbors and our families were close friends. I grew up with the evolas and loved all of the. Some of the most genuine people evef. Love you larry and will miss my dear friend.

My heart certainly goes out to all of you at this difficult time of loss. May the comfort from the Scriptures provide you with what need. Isaiah 33:24 promises a time when "no resident will say 'I am sick'". Your beloved Larry is no longer suffering, but resting peacefully in God's memory. Hold on to hope! You have my condolences.
I work at JFK....Larry was a great guy...loved by everyone at the post office....my wishes are for his family and friends to know that we will never forget him.... and the man that he was.....
