Dr. Doreen Catherine Land

My heart is full of fond memories of lots of laughter and great conversation. You will be sorely missed, Dr. Land!

My heart is truly aching. I am praying that the Lord comfort Doreen's family and be a very present help during this difficult time. I am reminded of the Lord's promises and rejoice in knowing that He delights in welcoming His faithful servant who sought mercy, pursued justice and walked humbly with Him. I am forever grateful for her example and pivotal role in my personal life as both an educator and a mother. You are missed.

There was something about her smile that made me feel a connection to her! There was something about her words, which confirmed to me that she knew and understood the needs of our community. Thank you for not making me feel alone.

Dr. Land was extraordinarily compassionate which is something we should all strive to carry onwards as educators. She was truly a special type of leader. She knew numbers but she also understood students' and teachers' needs from the inside. She was revered and she will be missed.

It was a pleasure and joy knowing Doreen. May Jehovah bless her family and friends during their grieving.
