Never without a smile or open arms for a hug. In a room full of Byrne personalities and storytellers she more than held her own. Her embrace made all your troubles fall to the background. She treated others as if they were her own flesh and blood. She had a warmth and generosity of spirit that made every Byrne event special because of her presence. Her love for my mom and dad was genuine and spanned decades and her caring for my siblings & my children is an example for all of us still living. So glad we had that last dinner together before my Mom's service. Eileen, center of the table, telling all the old stories about family, friendship…

Eileen you were always my inspiration and always

Lit up a room. Never a Byrne party without asking whose picking up Eileen, and always missed if u couldn't make it. I'll always remember Our girl pizza parties on fridays at aunt Barbara 's after u went to bingo & aunt Barbara didn't go as often as u because she said I can take that game for so long, Going out for hamburger with raw onion can't have it without.u would say ,Well

We had a tentative date to go after the wedding for hamburgers this Friday.

I'll be having one for you.

I love you and I am so happy u were part of my family's life. Love and kisses…

My dad would always tell you how you were the bell of the ball - dressed to the nines!

Eileen was a part of my childhood as a good friend of my brother Thomas. I loved to dance with her and had many happy times. Now you, Thomas and Barbara will be together. God Speed my dear friend.
