I believe I can speak for my family when I say thank you to all that attended my father's services. He was an incredible man with a big heart who will be sorely missed by all who were graced to cross paths with him. I know he was watching all of us as we sadly celebrated his life. Thank you.
It is with a heavy heart and tear filled eyes that I send my condolences to Mr. J.P. Smith's family...He was my favorite teacher at MHS and one of the most influential, supportive advisors I have gratefully been blessed by throughout my life. He will always be remembered, especially for some endearing terms such as "palookaville" and "artsy craftsy" (pertaining to the school yearbook, of which he named me Co Editor in Chief in 1982 and honored me with the school's Journalism Award to boot!!). Mr. Smith was one of the most successful people to ever grace this earth.
