Beloved Uncle Joe was a force of nature, always upbeat, finding things to tickle the funny bone, looking for things to reach deep inside and bring in the light to some of the othewise reserved and quiet Ripps. He would also always touch one, literally, to be sure to connect and give you a piece of his vibrant energy. You could say that he was a 'live wire' and definitely 'larger than life' in his passions and interests. His love of Opera and his ability to sing and command your attention with his beautiful voice and sensitive interpretations was but one of his many gifts in the performing arts. Max and I send our deepest condolences to Aunt Oie, hi…
May fond memories of your father comfort you at this time. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. My sincere condolences.
Love, Laura
