Dolores "Dee" Cobb passed away suddenly on February 27, 2017 at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She was 80 years old. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Anthony Gagliardi and Elena Cicatello she lived in Astoria, NY before moving to New Hyde Park 40 years ago. Dolores was an active member of Notre Dame R.C. Church in New Hyde Park for many years. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She is survived by her husband Gerard F. Cobb and two sons: Gerard R. Cobb and his wife Tricia of Sydney, Australia and John James Cobb and his wife Jillese of Medford, NJ; one brother Michael Gagliardi of Boca Raton FL, two sisters: Ann Borgia of Douglaston and Rosemarie DiPalo of New Hyde Park.
She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren: Alexander, Benjamin, Jack, Emma and Andrew Cobb, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday March 5, 2017 from 2-4:30 pm and 6-8 pm at the New Hyde Park Funeral Home, 506 Lakeville Rd., New Hyde Park, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10:15 am at Notre Dame R.C. Church, 25 Mayfair Rd., New Hyde Park. Interment will be at St. Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Ave., Farmingdale. For those desiring, donations to the Notre Dame Church in her memory, would be appreciated.
