OBITUARY
Diem, George (75) on February 5, 2017 of New Hyde Park, NY. Devoted husband to Norma. Loving father to Michael (Karen) and Eric (Kara). Beloved grandfather to Madalena, Georgia, Kathryn and Tyler. Survived by his brother Ronald. Pre-deceased by his parents George and Elenor. Friends may visit Tuesday 6-8pm, Wednesday 2-4:30pm and 7-9:30pm at New Hyde Park Funeral Home, 506 Lakeville Road. Funeral Memorial Service Thursday 10:00am, New Hyde Park Funeral Home. Interment at Pinelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ALS Association.

Grandpa( George) deserved to live ! I miss him very much! I am very sorry to those who knew him better that me!

Sorry to hear about your loss. I had the pleasure of playing golf with George on a couple occasions and really enjoyed his wit, instruction and kindness. A very wonderful man. My prayers and sympathy to the entire family.
