OBITUARY
Connelly – Maureen (nee Colwell) of Garden City, NY on August 28, 2016. Loving wife of John. Devoted mom to John, Terence & Erin. Dear daughter of Mary & the late George Colwell. Special niece to Loretta Ansbro, who was like a second mom to her. Also survived by her siblings George, John, Ann Nelson & Patricia Gonzalez. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 3 PM to 8:30 PM at the New Hyde Park FH 506 Lakeville Rd. New Hyde Park NY. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne’s Church in Garden City on Wed. August 31, 2016. Interment to follow at Calvary Cem. www.nhpfh.com

John my thoughts and prayers were always with and Mureen throughout this long battled you fought together. My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you through this extremely sad time. You stayed strong with Maureen right till the end of her battle. My deepest sympathies John to you and the family.
I am very fortunate to have had Maureen in my life for the past 33 years. She was an amazingly kind, generous, thoughtful, helpful, and compassionate person as well as a wonderful friend. I have great memories of our times together and will miss her every day for the rest of my life. She deeply loved and treasured her family. The world has lost a very special person. My deepest condolences to the Connelly and Colwell families.
