As a lot of you probably know already, this past Wednesday night, January 20th, 2016.....my OMA (grandmother), Martha Schroer and one of my best friends in the world has passed on after a pretty rough year with complications from congestive heart failure. She was 98, and has been someone I've lived with since I was 3, along with my Brother Todd O'Connell, my late Mom Esta O'Connell, my Dad Robert O'Connell and my late Opa (grandfather) Julius Schroer. She has always been a very strong woman and someone I have always looked up to, from leaving her whole family in Germany to start a new life in America with her husband, to pulling out thorns and bee stings, to setting…
