LIFE STORY
Angela has worked in the private and public sector since 1957. She has worked in the banking industry, the service industry, as well as in county and town government. At the same time she dedicated herself to family, friends, community, god and country. Angela successfully raised three children while working for various private and public entities, at times, holding several jobs to support her family. She has always lent a helping hand to friends and numerous community organizations over the past six decades. Angela is devoted to her church and supports programs that help those who strive to help themselves. Her love of country is evidenced in her political involvement and patriotic advocacy over the past five decades. Though retiring from the workforce, Angela will continue her community and political involvement and, of course, her love for singing wonderful patriotic, religious and classical songs for all to enjoy.
Angela has been a rock of Stewart Manor-New Hyde Park community from the 1960’s to this very day. She began by welcoming newcomers to our community, as a Welcome Wagon International Hostess, bringing young families up to speed on our fine community organizations, schools, and businesses. Businesses like Umberto’s, Nuzzi Fuel, and many others throughout the community. Her successes lead her to become the first female president of the Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce. She was a key fundraiser for the 25th Anniversary of Memorial High School and served on the Village of NHP Parks Commission. Angela has been active in politics for over five decades.

Angela’s five decades of service to the Republican Party includes all the work committee men and women do to elect and re-elect our candidates. She has run numerous candidate headquarters and campaigns. Angela loves to sing. She was classically trained by singer and Coral Director Anna C. LaPula of the Metropolitan Opera of New York. She attended St. Joseph’s Parochial School, and sang at Cathedral High School, for the Glee Club and Orchestra, and at St. John’s University, making her way to singing at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and many famous supper clubs throughout Manhattan. She was a member of the Schola Contorum Choir of the Brooklyn Diocese, where she sang at many of the churches – in the borough of a thousand churches – often with her young son Edward in tow. Of course, parishioners of Holy Spirit have heard her wonderful voice over the years. Members of various political and community organizations have heard her wonderful renditions of our National Anthem and God Bless America. Her voice is true to form to this very day.
